My Story

Hi! My name is ...from ...a. I recently moved to Oxford to pursue an MBA at the University of Oxford. I am very excited to run the Oxford half marathon and supporting ITF.

Having a background in agriculture and environmental engineering, plus growing with a family dedicated to agriculture and forestry, I am clearly aware of the importance of the protection and restoration of forest land. As ITF states, I also believe what a crucial role forest plays in the wellbeing of humankind. Aside from an environmentalist point of view, forest give us air, represents our “air conditioning” system, key role in the water cycle and maintains a key equilibrium in nature.

This year, I am very excited to be running this race to support ITF’s work to promote respect and understand the crucial role forests play in supporting livelihoods, protecting wildlife and maintaining a healthy environment for humans to live in.
